I took this photo on a stormy day last week, and it reminded me of something I witnessed a while back. I watched a little girl and her brother play in the woods. They raced up and down the paths and delighted in collecting pine cones. I saw such hope on their faces and felt the warmth of pure innocent love.
I suspect I had a glimpse of the future in that moment…amid the darkness, there is so much light. I love the Earth, and I’m committed to doing what I have come to do. Though my ultimate mission remains hazy, I will continue to listen to the whispers…and I will uncover that mission.
I can’t predict the future, but I can hold a strong intention for what our world is meant to be.
And it’s reflected in the faces of children...
