A few days ago, I watched these Canada geese resting on a log, basking in some welcome winter sun…and I had a thought. The Earth’s animals and plants and trees echo Her cycles and follow Her rhythms. Beginnings, endings, new beginnings…
As I studied the resting geese, I was reminded that winter is a time to dream…a time to slow down, turn inward, and explore our deepest selves. It’s in the stillness that we find our true selves, our light selves who are so much more than our physical existence.
So as I settle into winter, I look back at all that has transpired and welcome the dreams and visions of my heart…and begin to feel what’s possible.
And I listen for the deep yearnings of my soul…the whispers of what’s to come.
