A friend recently moved into a new home. As she packed, she shared her lament about the excessive number of things she had to box up and transport to her new house. After weeding out what she could live without, she still had a lot of stuff.
We humans have so many possessions.
In my wanderings this week, I came across this colorful turtle. As I watched him for a while, I had a thought. He was carrying all he needed on his back. No furniture, no knickknacks, no mementos, able to change locations at a moment’s notice.
I suspect the turtle is on to something. How much stuff do I really need?
Time to clean out my closets...
