I was thrilled to see baby goslings at the refuge…their parents so proud of the new additions to their families. This little guy was especially charming, just days old but already so confident as he paddled around the stream.
Time passes quickly in the goose world. Soon this little gosling will be full grown, with offspring of his own.
The Earth is always renewing Herself, and the renewal is particularly apparent in the springtime. Lately, I’ve engaged in my own version of renewal. I've watched myself clean closets and donate items I no longer find useful.
But I suspect that true renewal is less about eliminating things and more about discarding old thoughts and ideas.
So now I wonder…what thoughts and ideas no longer serve me, keeping me stuck in old patterns? And what dust-covered beliefs are ready to be discarded?
Perhaps it’s time for some quiet introspection…
