It was early evening when I spotted these two boisterous little ducklings on a half-submerged log. If I didn’t know better, I would swear they were dancing and singing.
Maybe that’s what animals do when we’re not watching. Whatever they were doing, they appeared to be having a marvelous time.
Perhaps we humans should spend more time dancing and singing as well. I suspect that along with learning lessons, we’re here to enjoy and celebrate. And I wonder…maybe taking time to delight in this amazing life might help offset some of the turmoil in our world.
So today I offer a picture of joy from the natural world…and I’m grateful to these two new arrivals for the reminder to celebrate life.
