I spotted this beautiful egret, and he took my breath away. With the light reflecting off his pure white feathers, he looked angelic.
And I had a thought. We often serve as angels for each other. Not in an other-worldly way, but in our human way, supporting each other through challenging times.
So many people have been angels for me, too numerous to count. Friends who humbly offered sage advice when my own thinking was clouded, the couple who escorted me to my car across a dark parking lot, the neighbor who shared the bounty of her garden.
So many angelic moments.
I smiled at the lovely egret, grateful for the reminder of all the human angels who have graced my life.
What a blessing…
