He landed on a fence post, a respectable distance away…a beautiful short-eared owl.
As I studied him through my camera lens, I was struck by his gaze…steady and unblinking, piercing through the fog.
And I had a thought. Owls are such watchful observers, capable of seeing in the darkness. Perhaps that’s why they’re known for carrying the wisdom of the ancient ones.
And I was reminded that we’re not alone on our journey. There’s so much unseen support…ancient, timeless and always there for the asking.
