While wandering one cold morning last week, I spotted these beautiful snowdrops. I marveled at their prolific presence. How are they even possible in the deep chill of winter?
As I thought about it, I realized that these lovely flowers are an illustration of the miracles on our planet. The Earth is not logical or predictable or explainable. Rather, She is the reminder that anything is possible, well beyond the limits of our human minds.
I suspect there is a scientific explanation for the winter blooms. But rather than try to make sense of it, I choose to simply appreciate the mystery and wonder on our incredible planet.
