Cormorants are very intriguing to me. Their facial expression is so fierce…they look almost prehistoric.
Cormorants spend a lot of time in the water, diving for fish. They periodically hop up on logs and spread their wings to dry. I've read that if they don't do that, they become water logged and drown.
In our fast-paced world, we humans rarely take time to rest and dry our wings…we go and go and go. Maybe we should take a page from the cormorant playbook, and take a break.
Take time to simply enjoy life...
