This hawk rested quietly for a long while, occasionally stretching his wings as the sun peeked through the dark clouds. Such a magnificent being.
As I watched him, I had a thought. He was operating in an easy rhythm…hunt, rest, hunt, rest. Animals know when it’s time to quiet. They follow the natural rhythms of the Earth.
The quiet also beckons to us, offering an opportunity to reflect. To slow our thoughts and welcome the dreams and visions of our hearts, and to begin to feel what’s possible.
I suspect the hawk was a reminder to spend more time in the silence. Perhaps the key to gracefully navigating an uncertain and uncharted world.
